Nature's Anthem - Still Shadey

Nature's Anthem - Still Shadey

Nature’s Anthem

Have you ever beheld freedom through these eyes?
These tall hills sitting right beneath the skies
A painful path is gonna teach you how to fly
In the dirt I think I saw a butterfly

I found a place to escape the busy hype
Leith Hill Tower greater than the city heights
There’s a war going on outside
Garden of Eden where I read that book of life

Like I don’t wanna leave
Why would I when there’s demons trying follow me
I met an angel in this garden and she’s blessing me with hope
I’m looking at the dirt and I see trees tryin to grow

I was lower than lows In a place where
I can’t cope, woah
They all wanna know
But the words can’t leave my throat
Choke
I was tired of speaking
In my heart there was a hole
And then I found me a freedom
started filling it with gold

Now I'm richer than these celebrities that I see on TV
They want material wealth I got green energy
That’s something you cannot own
The greatest gift you can see
Higher echelon, I’m talking about the orchid family

That’s rare species
Ironic, I can’t find someone like me
Oxygen is everywhere so why can't I breathe?
Ran away from trauma and made new memories

Heart still in pieces but this art gives me peace
Rain falling down watering a new seed
How do you make diamonds ?
Look, You need pressure and some heat
When can you come here?
Look, In the cold and the heat
Every seasons works
No church in the wild
But in the wild I went and found a church

Beautiful pain, it’s ok that these thistles hurt
I take that as a sign and I wonder that I found the treasure
buried in the dirt
It’s buried in the dirt

Have you ever beheld freedom through these eyes?
These tall hills sitting right beneath the skies
A painful path is gonna teach you how to fly
In the dirt I think I saw a butterfly
That Camberwell Beauty you can't find in Camberwell
That Small Blue is like an angel in disguise
So while my friends are more obsessed about their iphones
That White Admiral is opening my mind

All these patterns and these shapes
Reminding me nature’s great
These details all on purpose
I couldn’t be a mistake In the dark like I’m nocturnal
My mind needed a break
But seeing this red kite
Tell me I got what it takes

I heard the grass be greener on the other side
My tears burn away as I see this nature cry
It's beyond me
Literally
And on the hill I found literacy
Where the self heal plant is growing physically
I found my traumas fade away into history
No more pain, no more drama, no more misery
Hope and life was hidden in me, it was hidden in me

So while my world be dying from a disease
I’m looking at the ash tree and we got similarities
But we can fight back when that dieback sweeps
It's like the Yew is just like You, we can live for centuries
