National Landscape: Howardian Hills National Landscape
Next Door But One and York Dance Space will co-produce a creative carers break with York Carers Centre, running a series of activities and classes inspired by and utilising the natural beauty of Howardian Hills.
Movement, dance, storytelling and Playback Theatre will be used to support unpaid carers to engage mindfully in the outdoors, reflect on how nature supports their wellbeing and how engaging in places of natural beauty can be beneficial to them going forward.
This project is also an opportunity for Next Door But One and York Dance Space to develop their own professional practices and evaluate the benefits and practicalities of hosting theatre and dance workshops in nature.
