Surrey Hills Arts is a partnership between Surrey Arts (Surrey County Council) and the Surrey Hills National Landscape.
Their mission is to connect people to this landscape through an imaginative arts programme, meaningful engagement and developing our creative community. They develop site-specific projects across the art forms that respond to the area’s rich history, geology and characteristics including workshops, permanent artworks and events. They welcome those who don’t normally have the opportunity to engage in nature or the arts.
For Nature Calling, they are working closely with the New Addington community of Croydon. They will be supporting the writer and artists to connect with this community and to explore their local wild places in addition to the Surrey Hills.
